This event is scheduled for every weekend this month at Ghost Town and Camp Snoopy at Knott’s. Despite the name of the event, Knott’s Spooky Farm is a cheerful place rather than a frightening place, which makes it perfect for kids. At Knott’s Spooky Farm you will get to enjoy live entertainment shows, trick or treating for the kids, dance competitions, singing competitions, and costume parades.

You can also enjoy a stroll in the Spooky Hollow Maze and be entertained by family-friendly films such as ‘the Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown. Tickets are available on the Knott’s website; purchase yours in advance to secure a spot before they are all sold out.

U-Pick Tours and the Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch

This Halloween celebration is due to happen every day between 29th September and 31st October at the Tanaka Farms in Irvine. You and your companions will get to take strolls through the corn fields, enjoy wagon rides around the farm, pick fresh vegetables that you can carry home, visit the petting zoo, take photos by spooky piles of pumpkins, and finally harvest fresh pumpkins that you will be allowed to carve. Other fun activities will include Halloween games, ATV rides, and much more.

Aliso Viejo Harvest Festival

The Aliso Viejo Festival is scheduled for 21st October at the Grand Park in Aliso Viejo. The festival is suited for the entire family and people of all ages; activities and attractions will include children’s art and crafts, balloon shows, carnival games, live DJ Entertainment, costume competitions, and a lot more.

The festival will also include a canned food drive where you can donate pet food and canned (human) food that will earn your child a free pony ride and a wristband. The donated food items will then be donated to the South County Outreach program for needy persons in Orange County.

Griffith Park Haunted HayRide

This is the Golden State’s original haunted hayride. This spooky hayride is located in Griffith Park in Southern California. You and your companions will get to ride through the woods in Griffith Park aboard a tractor-driven hay wagon. Other fun activities around the park will include a ‘Scary-Go-Round’ that rotates backward, free psychic readings, a house of mirrors, and antique shops where you can get souvenirs to immortalize the memories you will make.
